SHADID was inspired by a drive through the desert from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Wide blue skies, endless horizons, heat, silence, and solitude form a nearly mystical experience where memories surface, colors intensify, and time seems suspended. These impressions merge with recollections of journeys through oriental landscapes, including Saudi Arabia. Rich, warm, and deeply evocative, SHADID captures a feeling of vastness and intensity, tempered by calm and clarity.

At the heart of SHADID lies Nagarmotha, revealed in all its facets: woody, smoky, ambery, musky. It evokes the depth and richness often associated with oud. The composition opens with animalic leather and spice, then deepens into a rich and textured middle before settling into a dark yet radiant base. Creamy sandalwood, glowing ambergris, dry cedarwood, and a restrained touch of vanilla create lift and luminosity, balancing the darker elements and giving the fragrance an airy inner light. SHADID is powerful but never loud. Elegant, composed, and persistent.
