Private gambling club
Streetwalkers set hearts aflame in smoky gambling dens, where accounts are settled with powerful uppercuts and machine guns. The action is fast and furious: “I’m gonna show him who Raoul is.”
François Hénin wanted to pay vibrant homage to these virile icons of the French cinema, characters who marked an era, and whose auras still remain intact. This was the challenge set before perfumer Dorothée Piot (Robertet), who delivers an opulent fragrance, a major men’s scent that makes no concessions.
For some, this fragrance evokes the supercharged ambiance of a boxing match. All around the ring, the crowd screams as the boxers strive to knock out their opponent. For others, it brings to mind the atmosphere of neighborhood cinemas where one could hear the whirling of the film reel.
