Aurélien Guichard, born in Grasse and coming from a family of perfumers for 7 generations, signed around 100 creations before creating his own brand. Matiere Premiere fragrances are build around one central natural ingredient, used in its highest dosage. Rose, the perfumer's favorite ingredient, is extracted directly from the organic fields of Aurélien Guichard, who is to date the only perfumer to cultivate and use his own Rose Centifolia. Matiere Premiere perfumes contain between 85% and 92% natural ingredients they are vegan and phthalate free. Their color are given exclusively by their ingredients, without any coloring agent.
