This project was born of the pleasure of smelling old toiletry bottles and jars. The residues that remain, the ‘flthy’ bottoms of resins and balms, are reminders of times when animal materials were widely used in perfumery. The amber and musky notes are the essence of this project, and these bases are set in a décor of wood and wax, extending the imagination of this ancient world.
